Welcome to the Jungle
I thought I would give you a bit of background on how the Web site started and what kind of content you can expect to find here.
What started as an idea for me to make a few posts on music related topics has grown to include 17 people with diverse musical tastes. After lamenting to David Leishman that I couldn’t find a music site I liked, he said “why don’t we make one.”
I talked to several other people to see if they would want to visit a site like this and they all said yes. That’s the basic version of how things came together. Through the generosity of Piotr, we also have a really cool design, which was coded by John Casasanta.
Now, what kind of content can you expect to find? Almost anything! That’s the beauty of what we put together. When you look at the people that are involved here, I think you will find their opinions on music enlightening, to say the least.
From professional musicians and composers to amateurs like myself, the one thing I found is that we all have opinions on music. This is the place, we will get them out.
You may find some news items if someone sees an update to their favorite software application or opinions on a new guitar. More than anything you will find individual opinions on music and everything that goes along with (admittedly, that is a lot).
We will have an authors page set up on the site very shortly where you can read a little bit about each person.
