Godsmack becoming a favorite

Those that know me well know that there is only one guitar player—Zakk Wylde. I like a bunch of people for a variety of reasons, but nobody beats Zakk. Recently though I’ve been listening to a lot of Godsmack and this band can really rock.
I seem to drawn to songs that use C or D tunings. I don’t know what it is about those tunings, but the songs are just so incredible hard. My favorite of their albums is “Awake”; I can listen to this non-stop.
“Sick of Life” is my favorite song so far. This song just makes me want to start banging my head against whatever hard surface is around.
Godsmack doesn’t outdo Zakk for guitar playing, but this is one tight band.
