Holiday Rock n’ Roll

Monday, January 2nd, 2006

For the first time in years Monique and I went out for New Years Eve. Friends of ours invited us over to their house for a potluck, music and lots of fine drink. It’s amazing the how the music genre changes as the night goes on.

Bruce has his computer set up in the family room, so getting the song you want was really easy. The music at first was kind of mellow, nothing to hard, but the stuff you normally hear at a party when you first walk in.

Mid-way through the party, when people were starting to enjoy the drink, the dancing started to Green Day and groups that were a little harder. But for me, the night really kicked into gear towards the end of the night.

That’s when another guy and I started putting on Guns n’ Roses and some other hard music. I looked on with some satisfaction as I watched people not only dance, but they were singing the words too.

I was born to be a Rock God with Half Naked Hootchies everywhere!
