Motley Crue concert was pathetic
After spending a lot of time on the road over the past couple of months, I finally made it home. I got here just one day before Motley Crue took the stage in Halifax.
Just two songs into the song, the PA system blew up so there was no sound at all. It’s funny watching 40-something has beens jump around the stage with no music. After a couple of songs with no music, they got another PA online and the sound was back.
After about six songs the curtain all of a sudden went down. Everyone was just standing there wondering what the hell was going on. Then they said they were taking a 10-minute break and would be right back!
Huh? WTF are you talking about—back in 10 minutes?!
Throughout the show, members would leave the stage for extended periods of time leaving the crowd to listen to Tommy or Vince talk about whatever was on their mind.
I understand that Mick isn’t doing well these days and it showed. I feel bad for Mick, but he shouldn’t be out on tour and from what I saw, neither should the rest of the band.

wow, that was quite different than what I saw, but I saw them earlier in 2005. They had a momentary PA problem, and not so much talking.
A really, really WIERD intermission, that was amusing, but that was about it. Other than that, the show was solid, bombastic, and kicked ass.
I’m starting to learn that when you see a band in the tour matters a lot.
Never see a B-52s show late in the tour. Not that they suck, but by then, they’re tired, so Kate and Cindy have a hell of a time with their harmonies.
But early in a tour? D00D

There was nothing funny about this. People were booing them—and with good cause too.
